In the US, research shows that Flipped Learning has witnessed impressive results in the American classrooms. Further, the attention paid in such an area keeps increasing. The so-called Flipped Learning is to utilize technical assistance, as teachers would edit films for students to familiarize themselves with the course content on-line prior to attending the class. During the class, students will then form groups, make discussions, and conduct experiments or do assignments. Such more in-depth teaching methodology can make the students understand the content fully and absorb what have been taught in the classroom.

美国达特茅斯大学（Dartmouth College）的法语和意大利语言课程，目前正尝试结合推特（Twitter）社交网络的功能，让学生除了课堂学习之外，还能在自己选择的法文和意大利文推特上，跟着推文（tweets），或阅读别人的推文，增加活学活用的机会；有现成舞台让他们可以演练学来的语文，对他们学习帮助很大。
